Mmabatho is a believer in African Development through leadership, community engagement and the power of pen.
She is the Founder of The Afrolutionist, this very blog that promotes dialogue on African Development in the socio-political, environmental, economic and arts & culture sectors in the continent and its diaspora. The Afrolutionist, under the SDG 17 goal further promotes African Development through partnership of goals in running CSR projects such as The Botswana Youth Jobs Fair.
She is also a founding member of the United Nations Association of Botswana, and a Key Correspondent of the Positive Vibes Key Populations Reach Program. Further Mmabatho is YALI Regional Leadership Initiative fellow, the APCIEU and UNESCO 2nd Youth Leadership Workshop on GCED Alumni, and the pioneering Anzisha Media Prize finalist.
Before her days as a deliberate Afrolutionist, Mmabatho made history in her institution as the first Woman SRC President of her previous institution ABM University College where she also filled previous portfolios as a General Secretary and Minister of Media and Publicity. She briefly entered the media realm as a trainee journalist for Kenya Airways inflight magazine: Business Leaders and volunteered as a motivational speaker for Class Volunteers, a program under the Ministry of Skills and Education Development of Botswana.
