This Day In African History: Nelson Mandela

Today Marks an important day in history for South Africa.This day 25 years ago,  Nelson Mandela walked out of Victor Verster Prison in Robben Island, after having served 27 years of a life sentence due the apartheid government’s conviction of treason.

Since his freedom, appointment of presidency and work in philatrophy till he left us to become Africa’s ancestor, Tata continuously visited the 466/64 cell, sharing his story with various world leaders and public figures.
